Manish Kumar completed his graduation from Ramjas College, University of Delhi in 2012 and pursued his L.L.B. from Campus Law Centre, Faculty of Law, Delhi University, graduating in 2015. He enrolled with the Bar Council of Delhi in the same year. Thereafter, he qualified for most prestigious Advocate-On-Record, Examination. With a wealth of experience in handling complex litigations, he has practiced extensively in the Supreme Court of India, Delhi High Court, Subordinate Courts, and various Judicial and Quasi-judicial Tribunals across Delhi and other states.
As an Advocate-on-Record (AOR) at the Supreme Court of India, Manish Kumar has developed a distinguished practice in litigation and arbitration. With a wealth of experience in handling complex litigations, he has practiced extensively in the Supreme Court of India, Delhi High Court, Telangana High Court, Andhra Pradesh high Court, Subordinate Courts, and various Judicial and Quasi-judicial Tribunals across Delhi, Hyderabad, Vishakapatnam and other states.

He has completed his Masters of Law from University of Cambridge, where he has read papers including International Commercial Litigation, International Commercial Taxation, International Investment Law and Law of Restitution. He completed his LL.B. from Campus Law Centre, University of Delhi being amongst top rankers in the University. He is a gold medallist in B.A. (H) Economics. He has qualified the Advocate on Record Exam 2021 conducted by Hon’ble Supreme Court in first attempt, scoring 4th highest marks in the same.
He is currently in active litigation practice and has argued several matters with success before different forums for his clients(s). He has honed his skills clerking for HMJ Madan B Lokur, HMJ Sanjiv Khanna, HMJ R.K. Gauba and learnt the process & thinking that goes behind the bench.
On this side he has sharpened his skills under the tutelage of Mr. Aman Lekhi, Senior Advocate, during the time period he was Additional Solicitor General of India. He also has had the experience of briefing Ld. Solicitor General of India, Ld. Attorney General of India and other top law officers of Union of India in Supreme Court of India and High Court of Delhi.
He has a good command over commercial matters and has successfully argued matters before Ld. NCLT, Ld. NCLAT & Hon’ble Supreme Court for Oriental Bank of Commerce, PNB and Resolution Professional(s).
Most recently, in regards Jet Airways CIRP, appeared for PNB before Ld. NCLAT and successfully got Rs.202+ crore re-instated for the client, which had been illegally and wrongfully reduced by RP.
Prior, in regards Mittal Corp CIRP, he has appeared in Ld. NCLAT and successfully argued the appeal against wrongful rejection of S.7 IBC application by Ld. NCLT Mumbai.
